The Committee on Freedom of Speech and Information suggests that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the bill on amendments to article 18 of the Law “On Advertisement” (re placement of advertisements on vehicles)

The bill (Reg. No. 3073) suggests supplement chapter four of article 18 of the Law “On Advertisement” with a norm according to which, placement of external advertising on busses, on rolling stock of city electric transport (except underground railway carriages) is allowed “only along side flaps of the vehicles without placement of the advertisement on glass (transparent) surfaces.”

Following the results of the discussion, the Committee adopted the decision to recommend that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine should reject the bill on amendments to article 18 of the Law “On Advertisement” re placement of advertisements on vehicles (Reg. No. 3073-1).
